Unemployment rates in most African countries are relatively high. This has resulted in many communities struggling with poverty.

Our Transformation Hub aims to strategically partner and collaborate with Governments and companies in the private sector as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and transformation initiatives. Our Transformation Hub has two main business units which are Incubation Hub & Scholars Hub.

Both business units offer clients various opportunities that they can consider as they seek to play their part in alleviating poverty and unemployment. Our aim is to ensure that these initiatives are not merely a ‘tick box’ exercise for corporates but rather initiatives to bring about transformation.

Incubation Hub

Communities in Africa need entrepreneurs that are Marketplace Leaders. They are “Valuable” to society and touch every level of what great societal change could be. They have integrity, good morals, ethics, and a passion to bring reformation and positively impact their communities.

Some have risen to this call and started businesses however, statistics show that 20% of new businesses fail during the first two years of operating. 45% during the first five years and 65% during the first 10 years. Only 25% of new businesses make it to 15 years or more due to various reasons.

The aim of our Incubation Hub is to alleviate poverty and reduce the unemployment rate by empowering individuals that have business ideas, with skills and knowledge that can enable them to set up and run their ventures profitably.

Our services are geared towards accelerating the growth and success of entrepreneurs. We take entrepreneurs through an incubation process where they are firstly equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge required to start and profitably run their venture. Our Incubation Hub aims to reduce the gap between the skills and knowledge that the entrepreneurs have and what would be ideal for the running of their venture. We ensure that a skills transfer takes place. We coach and assist them in creating a vision for their business. Our services include:

Scholar’s Hub

Our Scholars Hub solely focuses on study opportunities. We identify and recruit unemployed and previously disadvantaged youth, disabled persons, and assist them with getting enrolled for study opportunities sponsored by the private sector and Government. We also go a step further and collaborate with stakeholders in coming up with various incentive schemes that can motivate and the candidates.

The aim of our Scholars Hub is to ensure that candidates are enrolled, and gain knowledge, skills that can improve their chances of getting employed or they can use the skills they would have gained to start and run their own businesses.

Our Scholars Hub also hosts a career day and an annual symposium to recognize and award candidates that would have been exceptional in their programs.

Scholars interested in pursuing career paths in Business Development also get a chance to apply at THE BIZZ HUB.
